With a career spanning over three decades in Foodservice and Hospitality, Phil has established himself as an innovative business leader and transformative coach. His remarkable journey began in the New Zealand Defence Force, where he served as a Chef, developing the discipline, precision, and leadership skills that would define his future career.

This military culinary foundation (City and Guilds of London Institute) provided Phil with a unique perspective on operational excellence and team dynamics, seamlessly transitioning into a distinguished corporate career where he has excelled as a people and sales leader for more than twenty years. His hands-on experience in both kitchen operations and corporate leadership allows him to bridge the gap between culinary expertise and business strategy.
As the co-leader of a dynamic team, Phil drives organisational transformation through no nonsense, innovative approaches to Operations and Culinary strategy development. He specialises in crafting customised, forward-thinking solutions that help organisations navigate industry challenges and capitalise on emerging opportunities. ​During his impressive 14-year tenure with Unilever, Phil held key leadership positions including ANZ Sales Capability Leader and Queensland State Sales Manager. These roles allowed him to refine his expertise in sales strategy, team development, and organizational transformation. His leadership style, deeply rooted in coaching and mentorship, has consistently delivered exceptional results while nurturing the next generation of industry leaders.
As a Professional Member of the Australian Institute of Training and Development (AITD), Phil maintains a steadfast commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
